Arthur Frank Lumpkin

Arthur Frank Lumpkin, affectionately known as “Lump” by many, was born on February 22, 1947, and was reared by his parents, Victor and Isa Mae (Lumpkin) Green in Terrell County, Georgia. As a young man, he received his formal education in Terrell and Dougherty County.

Also as a young man he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, but most recently re-dedicated himself to the Lord, and was water baptized on June 15, 2024.

The Lord blessed him to give life to two precious children, McKesia Brown (Phillip) and Arthur Frank Bray, both of Virginia, and be a ray of sunshine for his family and friends. He was a brother to thirteen siblings, and now leaves to cherish his memory, three beloved sisters, Sharlene Green, Cynthia Anderson and Vickie Green, all of Albany, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives.

As his family, we would like to believe that around 3:41 am on Friday March 6, our Heavenly Father expressed how much he loves “Lump”, how he sees him suffering, and would much rather have him at home in peace with Him, and we can hear our legendary, Uncle Frank, agree with the Lord, “I know that’s right!” We are grateful for the life he shared with us, but eternally joyful for the life he now lives with the Savior.
