Jerome Richardson was born on July 17,1950 in Albany, Georgia to his loving parents. Allen Richardson, Sr. and Florine McDowell Richardson. 

He received his education in the public schools of Dougherty County where he attended Monroe High School.

Jerome was employed with Firestone, City of Albany, Phoebe Putney and Jamison Bedding. He was good with his hands and always working around his home until his health declined. 

Jerome confessed his love for Christ after the teachings from his family. He was baptized and joined Cutliff Grove Baptist Church at an early age. 

Jerome was preceded in death by his mother, father, and siblings: Allen Richardson, Claude Richardson, Horace Blackmon, Elaine Cutley, and Ronnie Blackmon. 

Jerome Richardson was called home on May 4, 2026.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories is his daughter and son, Donna (Terry) Knighton and Dennis (Tasha) Richardson, grandchildren, Raquell Richards, and Marquell (Courtney) Knighton, a great grandson, Cullen Knighton and a host of family and friends that will hold his memory near.
