Minnie L. White was born August 11, 1947, to the late Silas Loud and Naomi Shannon in Terrell County, Georgia.
She received her education in the Terrell County School System.
Minnie’s Christian Experience began at a very early age where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful member of Salem Baptist Church and later joined Saint Kline Baptist Church in July of 1984. Her faith allowed her to be an example for many in her daily walk of life.
In 1964 she was joined in holy matrimony to the late Ather White, Jr. Together they embarked on a life filled with love and devotion to each other and they were truly blessed with five wonderful children who brought immeasurable joy to their lives.
During her early years Minnie was employed with Nut Tree Pecan, Inc. and later retired as a homemaker.
Anyone who knew Minnie knew that if she called you family or friend there was no length to great for her to help you. Her heart knew no boundaries. She will always be remembered for her warm heart, kindness and dedication to her family and friends.
Minnie was proceeded in death by her husband, Arther White, Jr. her parents Silas Loud, Naomi and Willie Fred Shannon, son in law, James Williams, Sr. daughter in law, Cleo White, her sisters Essie Tyson, Brenda Owens, Dorothy Covin, grandchildren, Justin Colman, Jr., Legacie Brielle Kourtney Turner, and Tyria James.
On May 9, 2026, Minnie was surrounded by her family when she received her Heavenly call.
She leaves to mourn her absence, five beautiful children, Gary (Wanda) Loud, Gloria ( Ken) Thompson, Naomi Willaims, Bobby (Takira) White and Minnie (Derrick) White; her grandchildren, Vanessa Williams, Dana Smith, Noman Smith, Bobby White, Jr. Brittany White, Jabrenten Winbush, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two brothers, Jimmy Loud and Freddie Shannon, four sisters, Eunice Walden, Annie Owens, Gloria Walker, Betty ( Tommy) Stewart; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Two special friends Gloria Soloman, and Aldene Lanier. A special family, Dr. Paul and Kelly Smurda, and other extended family and friends.
