Natasha Sherman was born in Albany, Georgia, on August 13, 1971. She was the beloved daughter of David Sherman, Sr. and the late Justina Anderson Sherman.

 Natasha received her early childhood and secondary education in the Dougherty County school system, graduating from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in 1991. 

Natasha was a faithful member of the Church of Christ at Gaines Avenue in Albany, Georgia. Her faith and trust in God kept her spiritually grounded and allowed her to be an example for many in her daily walk of life. 

For many years Natasha was employed at Target Department Store. She was known to many people as a loving and caring woman with the sweetest personality ever.

On June 6, 2026, Natasha answered her Heavenly Father’s call. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is indeed resting with the Lord. 

Natasha was preceded in death by her mother, Justina Anderson Sherman; daughter, Tyria Tayana James; and brother, Myron Sherman. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Bobby L. White; grandchildren, Taliyah Sherman, Trevon Sherman, and Herman Leon James III; father, David Sherman, Sr.; brother, David Sherman, Jr.; son-in-law, Herman Leon James II; and a host of other loved family members and dear friends.
