IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jaylan
Bell
March 27, 1995 – October 31, 2025
Funeral Service
Greater Joy Cathedral Celebration of Praise Ministries, Inc.
Starts at 3:00 pm
Jaylan Keontrey Montrell Bell was born March 27, 1995, in Albany, Georgia. He was the son of Joyce Jenkins Bell and the late Fredrick Tyrone Bell. He was the last of four siblings and the "Big" baby boy of the crew.
Growing up in Albany, Georgia, Jaylan attended the public schools of Dougherty County including Monroe Comprehensive High School and graduated from S.W. Georgia Regional Academy.
Jaylan accepted Christ in his life and was baptized under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Howard, while attending Trinity Baptist Church.
While navigating through life, he truly adapted to the footprints his father left behind and the words so preached to him; "Work hard", "Work for what you want and pay for what you get." "Always love and take care of the kids."
He was a devoted father of five children and was blessed with a bonus daughter. He could be seen at all the sports events, school programs, and out to eat at different restaurants with the kids. He would call and facetime his daughters daily. His favorite leisure time was playing Madden with the boys and getting their haircuts.
On Friday, October 31, 2025, our beloved son, father, brother, grandson, nephew and friend transitioned from the busy flight of life to eternal rest.
In addition to his father, Jaylan is preceded in death by his bonus daughter, Za'Riah Ward, maternal grandparents; Issac & Pearlie Jenkins, and paternal grandparent, Major Bell, II.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by his mother, Joyce Jenkins Bell, children, Jaylan Jr., Jayden, Jaide, Jailyn and Madilyn Bell. Siblings, Shaquinta, (Kelvin) McCoy, Tashaly (Antione) Beasley, Cedrick Boone, Jr. and Shaquera Jenkins, Grandmother, Geraldine Howzine.
